Construct Eleven (11) Information Stations - Washington County, Utah. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah seeks a contractor to construct eleven (11) information stations in Washington County, Utah and perform associated site work. Each information station will have an information kiosk. The government will supply only the information kiosk frames (roof not included) and the contractor will be responsible for supplying all other necessary materials to complete the construction of the information kiosk. The associated site work for the information stations consists of making vehicle pullouts where the level of associated site work varies between sites. The full details are in the Scope Of Work (SOW) which is a collection of attached files i.e. scope of work, technical specifications and maps. Also attached is the bid schedule. This is a procurement for construction that has a magnitude of less than $25,000. Contractors are directed to examine one of the attached files giving the Davis - Bacon wages for construction in Washington County, Utah along with other related information in order to ensure full compliance with federal law. There are no bonding requirements since the magnitude is less than $25,000. No organized site visit will be conducted. Since each of the eleven sites requires making a vehicle pullout and each of the eleven sites has a different amount of work required to do that contractors are encouraged to use the google earth locations provided in the attached files to examine each site. Also, should a contractor desire to do so, a contractor is welcomed to go to the sites in person to examine them. This procurement is a 100% total set aside for small business and it is being conducted under NAICS code 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction / Park ground and recreational open space improvement construction under which, to be a small business, a company must have $36.5 million dollars or less in average annual receipts in this category. All contractors wishing to do business with the federal government must have an active entry in the SAM computer system (https://www.sam.gov) and not be debarred from federal contracting.
