- Questionnaire Synchro Resolver Standard This Request for Information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bids (IFB) Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This request for information shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract. This RFI does not commit the United States Government (USG) to contract for any supply or services. Further, the USG is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in responses to this sources sought notice. The USG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not precluded participation in any future RFQ, IFB, or RFP, if any is issued. The anticipated North America Industry System Classification (NAICS) 334515 Signal generator, manufacturing. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst NJ (NAWCADLKE) is requesting information from industry in order to identify qualified vendors interested in the Synchro Resolver Standard. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential contractors under NAICS 334515 that are qualified and capable of providing Synchro Resolver Standard (SRS) solution that is capable of simulating the output of a synchro or resolver for the purpose of calibrating the Navy's Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Synchro Generator Measurement Assembly (SGMA). The SRS shall be remotely programmable, via GPIB IEEE-488 interface. Responses to this RFI should consist of a capability statement referencing announcement notice " N68335-18-RFI-0306" and along with submitting a completed questionnaire and submitting a copy of an Active SAM Registration. Please review the attachments associated with this RFI in order to gain a better understanding of the technical specifications. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids, a solicitation, or an indication that NAVAIR will contract for the items contained in the RFI. NAVAIR will not pay respondents for any information generated for or provided in response to this RFI. The Government will not reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with the information submitted in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The Government will not release any information marked with a Proprietary legend, received in response to this RFI, to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside of the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. Submit your response in a PDF format document in no more than two single-sided, single-spaced pages, 12-point, Times New Roman font, using a minimum of one-inch margins. Responses to this RFI are requested by 11:00 AM on 29 June 2018 via email only.
