This policy was requested in Q&A number 487. No other changes have been made to the draft RFP #2 package. Enclosed with this posting is the second JEDI Cloud Draft RFP. As part of this draft release, the Government is providing the JEDI Cloud Questions and Answers (Q&A) Matrix for Draft RFP #1, which is comprised of all industry questions and comments in response to draft RFP #1 and the Department’s corresponding answers. The Q&A Matrix contains 1,030 entries. The previous announcement stated that 1,089 questions were received, but that number included internal Government questions that were separately resolved. In addition to the Q&A Matrix, the JEDI Cloud Draft RFP #2 includes updated sections A through M of the solicitation, Statement of Objectives, Price Scenarios, Cyber Security Plan, Definitions, CDRLs, and Task Orders. Update to notice information is as follows: The Government intends to post the JEDI Cloud Draft RFP#2 and Comment Resolution Matrix during the week of April 16, 2018. **This announcement is amended to include a Draft RFP update** The JEDI Cloud team is pleased to announce that the Department received 1,089 comments from 46 vendors, 2 associations, and 3 government agencies in response to the first draft solicitation. As stated during Industry Day, we will not be sharing the identity of any commenters beyond these statistics. We appreciate industry’s participation in the draft solicitation process and are confident that these inputs will help us to refine and clarify the requirement. DoD remains committed to a transparent process. To that end, the JEDI Cloud team intends to release answers to all previously submitted comments/questions along with a second draft solicitation package for additional comment during the week of April 9th. The projected timeframe for releasing the final solicitation in early May 2018 remains unchanged. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enclosed with this posting is the Draft Solicitation for the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) Cloud. This posting coincides with a widely attended Industry Day held on March 7, 2018, during which Department leadership shared their thoughts about the importance of JEDI Cloud and plans for the upcoming acquisition. The intent of this Draft Solicitation is to provide early and frequent exposure to industry of the Department’s evolving requirement. This early introduction of our anticipated solicitation, in advance of the final solicitation, should serve to enhance industry’s understanding of the Department's stated need while reducing ambiguity, and affording industry an opportunity to offer comments or pose questions regarding any element of this Draft Solicitation package. While industry is reviewing this draft, the Department will continue to assess its overall requirement. It is important that you remember that the Department is crafting a requirement that best suits its interests, and is not seeking to tailor that requirement to your particular business niche or position. However, your thoughts and suggestions remain critical to understanding any ambiguity, feasibility, and/or viability of the depicted requirement. Questions or comments pertaining to the JEDI Cloud Draft Solicitation Package shall be submitted via the enclosed Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM), posted as an attachment on FBO, which includes detailed instructions and format for submission. All feedback, which shall use the CRM, must be submitted via email to jedi-draft@dds.mil no later than March 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm ET. The Government intends to publish submitted comments and the Department’s answers before the release of the Final Solicitation. Company names will not be revealed. Questions shall not contain any proprietary information as they may not be answered or published. Questions received after 4:00 pm ET on March 21, 2018 may not be considered. Questions sent to any other email address will not be considered. Thank you for participation in this process and for the robust responses provided to the previous Request for Information released on October 30th.
