- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Contracting Division intends to negotiate a firm fixed contract to manufacture hose assemblies using FAR Part 12 AND 13.5 at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999 (All other miscellaneous fabricated metal product, flexible hose and tubing). This requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business. The required items are as follows: 0001: 50' HOSE ASSEMBLIES, (32) EA HOSE ASSEMBLIES MUST BE MANUFACTURES USING COMPONENTS FROM ONE MANUFACTURER. HOSE ASSEMBLIES ARE TO BE MANUFACTURED USING TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS LISTED BELOW. EACH HOSE ASSEMBLY TO BE 50'-0" LONG AND EQUIPPED WITH AN IDENTICAL FITTING ON EACH END. AEROQUIP AND PARKER NANNIFIN PARTS CANNOT BE ASSEMBLED TOGETHER ASSEMBLIES MUST BE PROVIDED USING: Dixon P/N R96PR1LJR15 flange fittings on both ends and Parker Hose Part number SS111-6000. NOTE THAT PURCHASE is not limited to parker. Any other company that can comply with the characteristics listed below may be considered. Provide a copy of test report supplied with material upon delivery. Labeling Requirements: Each hose assembly shall have the MFG's Name, Contract #, and Pressure Rating on layline in permanent ink or molded into covering. CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE 1. The contractor shall complete the enclosed Certificate of Compliance. If the certificate of compliance form is missing, a certificate of compliance shall be signed by a vendor official responsible for quality assurance attesting that the items on the contract are in full compliance with all contract requirements, and that the reports of test and inspection provided represent the actual attributes of the items furnished in the contract. 2. The contractor shall perform or have performed the inspections and tests required to substantiate that the supplies and services provided under this contract conform to the drawing, specifications, and contract requirements listed herein, including, if applicable, the technical requirements for the manufacturer's part number specified herein. The contractor shall maintain documentation of any such inspection or tests (for a period not to exceed one (1) year) or shall provide such documentation to the government upon request. 3. If, during the contractor's or government's own test or inspection, items furnished under the contract fail to meet all contract requirements, the contractor is financially responsible in accordance with the warranty provisions of the contract for correcting these conditions, regardless of the extent of testing or inspection required of the contractor by the contract. See Enclosure One (1) within the Solicitation for Certificate of Compliance 0002: 25' HOSE ASSEMBLIES (64) EA HOSE ASSEMBLIES MUST BE MANUFACTURES USING COMPONENTS FROM ONE MANUFACTURER. HOSE ASSEMBLIES ARE TO BE ORDERED USING TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS LISTED BELOW. EACH HOSE ASSEMBLY TO BE 25'-0" LONG AND EQUIPPED WITH AN IDENTICAL FITTING ON EACH END.
