- Page 1 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT FOR PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx New York, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Construction Technology Group, Inc. 2605 N Airport road, Plant City, Florida 33563. Construction Technology Group Inc. is to Install HTHC Equipment Site Prep at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan Campus, 423 E. 23rd St., New York, NY 10010-5011. The Contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work for this project as required by drawings and specifications. Construction work includes structural support for the equipment and mechanical work to install HTHC Equipment. Place of performance: VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan Campus, 423 E. 23rd St., New York, NY 10010-5011 Period of Performance: The period of performance is Three Hundred and Sixty Five Days (365) calendar days from notice to proceed (NTP). This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement no later than June 14, 2018, at 2:00 PM EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. If after June 14, 2018, at 2:00 PM EST, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall award solely to Construction Technology Group, Inc. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition. Scope: Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and turnkey services necessary for design and construction of a project described here-in for the project entitled INSTALL HTHC EQUIPMENT SITE PREP - HYBRID OR a turnkey project. This work shall include drawings and specifications, construction estimates and site preparation construction needed to install a new Philips Allura Biplane FD20/20 at the Veteran s Affairs Medical Center, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010. This work is for a full turn-key project in accordance with VA specification section 001121R. Training Contractors working on site must be compliant with Privacy training. When coming on site all contractors must read and sign VA Privacy Training for Personnel without Access to VA Computer Systems or Direct Access or Use to VA Sensitive Information a signed copy of the training will be provided and maintained by the COR. This training needs to be completed annually.
