- Sources Sought Synopsis Synopsis: Construct New Pole Barn Building 40028 This is a Sources Sought notice in accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only and there is no solicitation available at this time. All responses will be used for market analysis in determining the availability of potentially interested Small Business firms with a primarily performance of horizontal work (see requirements below) and may be used to determine appropriate acquisition strategy. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of the potential interested small business sources for this project, the Government is considering a set aside for Socio-economic status. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. MICC-FH, may issue a solicitation and award of a contract to "Construct New Pole Barn Building 40028". The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated NAICS code(s) is NAICS Code 238190 - Other Foundation, Structure and Building Exterior Contractors and standard business size is $15 million. Description of project is as follows: The purpose of this project is to install a new pre-engineered Pole Barn in the vicinity of Building 40028. The new pole barn will require site preparation for a new soil supported foundation Fort Hood, Texas. This is only the market research phase of this requirement. This sources sought does not mean that the Government will enter into an agreement with your agency. The Government is trying to determine if there is adequate competition in order to compete this requirement. Regarding project schedules, are you familiar with Gantt Charts or similar scheduling programs and their purposes? 5. What is your aggregate bonding capacity? What is your current available bonding capacity? 6. Would you consider work on Fort Hood which includes the Department of Labor Construction Wage Rate Requirement statute (previously known as Davis Bacon Act) and guidelines? 7.
