Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 18 June 2018. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic (NAVFAC LANT) intends to issue a request for proposal for a Design Bid Build, Firm Fixed Price contract for construction of P-119, Hydrant Refueling System, and P-911, Strategic Aircraft Parking Apron Expansion, Naval Support Activity (NSA), Souda Bay, Greece. This will be a full and open competitive procurement. The scope of work consists of the following: P119 Construct Hydrant System will construct ten hydrant fueling pits, at the ten aircraft parking spaces provided by the P911 Apron Expansion project, and provide new fuel issue and return lines and piping loops as required to supply the hydrant stations with fuel and return to the storage tanks. Project also includes modifying the existing leak detection system to accommodate new underground piping, pantograph flush/checkout stands, pantograph storage area, issue piping that meets UFC specifications, carbon steel return line piping, cathodic protection, valve pits, electrical vaults, fencing, gates, utilities, roadways, site lighting and related work. P911 Strategic Aircraft Parking Apron Expansion will construct an expansion to an existing concrete aircraft parking apron to provide the required apron space to park and refuel multiple aircraft simultaneously and provide space for safe aircraft movement and effective cargo handling. The current capacity of the apron is two narrow body aircraft and five wide-body aircraft. This project will expand the aircraft parking apron to provide additional parking areas for up to ten wide-body and five narrow-body aircraft. The additional ramp space will allow reconfiguration of the aircraft parking to improve safe aircraft movement and allow more effective refueling of aircraft.
