Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice for Landscaping Services at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Please respond if you have the ability and intent to complete this requirement. Include in your response the following information: Capabilities Statement; Company Name and Address; DUNS Number; Socioeconomic Size Status (e.g. Large, Small, WOSB, SDVOSB) Point of Contact information (name, phone, email); FSS or GSA Contract Number, if applicable. This Sources Sought Notice is intended to locate any business capable of performance. The anticipated NAICS Code for this requirement is 561730. This is not a Request for Quotation and quotes shall not be reviewed at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the contractor as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All responses shall be submitted via email by Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM EST. Responses shall be submitted to Jeremy Boston at Jeremy.Boston@va.gov. Phone calls shall not be accepted for this notice. The draft Statement of Work is below. This Statement of Work is not finalized and will likely have changes should the government solicit this requirement. Design has already been obtained and will be issued should the government solicit this requirement. Statement of Work Landscape Beds Ann Arbor VA Medical Center Work to be performed: The contractor shall remove existing and install new landscape beds at the following locations: Main Entrance Sign on Fuller Road. Sign at the Corner of Fuller Road and Fuller Street. Landscapes shall be based on the designs provided by the government in this solicitation (see attached). Designs portray the Rosetta Outcropping Collection with shrubs and perennials. Similar collections are acceptable (provide details). Minimum requirements are: Maximum wall heights of 18 exposed above ground level. Wall heights may vary. All stones forming walls shall be a minimum thickness of 6. Joints shall be staggered. New poly edged perimeters shall be installed around the renovated area. All bed areas shall be dressed with a minimum of 3 of landscape stone (e.g. river rock, egg stone). All landscape beds shall have soil returned to its original condition or better. Adjacent areas to landscape bed shall be returned to original condition or better (i.e. topsoil, fertilizer, seed, etc.) All services provided shall comply with all local, federal, and Ann Arbor VA laws, policies and laws.
