- Description
- JOTFOC P45J84 Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Ice Breaker and Buoy Tender Patrol Class, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Fairbanks Morse, LLC for the following services: Overhaul of Fairbanks Morse Diesel Engine components in accordance with OEM specifications to include pistons, connecting rods, pump drives, vertical drive assemblies, injection pumps, lube oil pumps. Fairbanks Morse, LLC is the OEM for these service/parts and has the proprietary data required to provide the services. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC Biscayne Bay. Vendor will provide all the services listed above. NAICS Code #811310 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 1200 PST 07 June, 2018 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: Kristen.J.ThomasCook@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: Fairbanks Morse, LLC Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Fairbanks Morse, LLC.
