- *** SIR Posting 6973GH-18-R-00026 has been cancelled in it's entirety. A replacement SIR has been posted under SIR 6973GH-18-R-00181. *** This announcement is for the posting of solicitation 6973GH-18-R-00026 for the acquisition of Air Traffic Control Radar Beacon System (ATCRBS) Five-Foot Antenna Group SUM and SLS (Elevation) Columns and Matrix Boards for the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK. This solicitation is open to all business sizes; "full and open" competition. There were originally two, separate Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM s) of the ATCRBS five foot antennas, all produced in the early 1980 s. One was manufactured by Texas Instruments, OEM part number FA-9764 and the other by Radiation Systems Incorporated (RSI), OEM part number FA- 10016. These antennas are critical elements (single-points of failure) for the following secondary surveillance (beacon) radar systems: Mode Select Beacon System (Mode S) and Air Traffic Control Beacon Interrogator Model 5 (ATCBI-5). The equipment will be sent to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
