Description
There are three (3) separate projects: 1. Fuel Farm NEWLON-549: Replace Oily Waste Separator Holding Tank: The existing 3,000 gal underground Storage tank (UST) is over 20 years old. This tank and concrete pad shall be removed and replaced with a new double wall 3,000 gallon fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) tank with ventilation stand pipe. The existing two (2) post indicator valves (believe to be as old as the tank and maybe leaking), one located prior to the holding tank and one located after the holding tank in line to the sanitary sewer line, will also to be replaced with new post indicator valves similar model to existing. The existing VEEDER ROOT system currently does not function. Contractor shall replace the VEEDER ROOT sensor and test the entire system. 2. Repair F-76 Load/Offload Positions Facility 482 With Canopy: The F-76 load/offload system is a single island with two (2) combination load/offload positions. The following equipment had recently been replaced: Bottom loading arms with lubricated swivel joints and the Emergency Shut-Off (ESO). The contractor shall verify the condition of the equipment, take care to remove if necessary, store and reinstall and warranty the equipment after reinstallation. 3. Repair Lube Oil Load Positions, Facility 527: The lube oil loading system is a single island with two (2) top loading positions one for 9250 lube oil and one for 2190 lube oil. The equipment is in poor condition and does not meet certain requirements of UFC 3-460-01 or associated environmental regulations. Each position is served by a 50 gpm loading pump located in the pump room in B-499. Separate 2 lines run from each pump (2 pumps) in the pump room to each loading arm position, which comprises of a single 2 loading arm controlled by a dead man handle. The top loading arms are accessed from a metal loading platform with stairs, loading arms, platform and stairs to become contractor s property and removed off base when new equipment is installed. Contractor will patch all holes or penetrations from any sections of the removed platform to the building or base.
