- DRAFT Statement of Work The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to Install New Back-Up Generator, Building 1959 Vandenberg AFB, CA. Funds are not presently available for this effort however, the Government anticipates funding under the authority of AFFARS Subpart 5332.703-2 and AFFARS Mandatory Procedure 5332.7 Contract Funding. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov/). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested small businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein in order to help determine which small business set-aside to use. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 238220 (Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors). The size standard for this NAICS code is $15,000,000.00. The intended project is to install new back-up generator per the user and Air Force Standards at Vandenberg Air Force Base, (VAFB) CA. The Contractor is to provide the government with a complete construction, and warranty for the Construction of a new diesel back-up generator for building 1959, with all associated equipment in order to meet user and Air Force Standards. See the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for more details. The proposed contract would be a firm-fixed-price contract. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/). The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
