Description
J&A Applicant Care Document Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Enterprise Services, "HRM 5000" Program Management Office (PMO), proposes to modifyits existing contract, 70B06C18D00000001, with Accenture Federal Services, Inc., (AFS) on a basis other than full and open competition. There is a critical need for an applicant care solution to enable CBP to respond to increased staffing needs mandated by Executive Order No. 13767: Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements (signed January 25, 2017), which CBP recognizes as surge hiring requirements, and to address CBP staffing attrition. The applicant care solution will have a great impact on CBP's hiring process, as it will provide both inbound and outbound support to the applicant throughout the entire hiring process. Inbound support will be provided so that applicants and prospective applicants can contact CBP for any questions or help they need in the hiring and application process. Outbound support will include engagement of applicants and prospective applicants to encourage them to apply, ensure they are not "stuck" in any part of the hiring process, and offer any assistance they may require throughout candidate period. Engagement, both inbound and outbound, shall be accomplished via e-mail, text, chat, and voice communications. Additionally, the solution will provide applicants with an online and mobile self-service means to check application status and receive updates.
