EMERGENCY BACKUP LAUNDRY SERVICE ATLANTA VAMC VA247-18-AP-8892 THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office NCO 7, Augusta GA, is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. Small business concerns should be capable of furnishing all labor, supervision, and parts, to include all equipment and linen necessary to perform all work required under the proposed contract. This capability shall be required at time of award. The estimated workload is provided as an attachment to this notice. Industry responses are being solicited as part of the market research process. This requirement is being considered for set aside for Small Businesses participation by Service Disabled Veteran Owned and Veteran Owned Businesses as required by P.L. 109-461 (38 U.S.C. 8127-8128) and Information Letter IL 001AL-10-06 dated April 28, 2010 implementing the Veterans First Contracting Program. This acquisition will provide for a contractor who shall furnish Emergent Backup Laundry Services to include all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, communized linen and textile items, bulk delivery carts, transportation, and facilities necessary to perform Contractor Owned/Contractor Operated Bulk laundry linen services. The locations to be serviced include: Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033 The performance period will consist shall be for a six (6) month period based on a bona fide need. The North American Industry Classification Code for this procurement is 812332, Industrial launderer and the size standard is $38.5 million. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. Capability Statements: POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large) and DUNS Number. 2) Provide a Statement of Capability that demonstrates the offeror's past performance in providing this type of service. Please include the following: (a) staff expertise including their availability, experience, and formal and other training; (b) current in-house capability and capacity to perform the work in the quantities estimated. (c) prior completed projects of similar nature and scope; (d) corporate experience and management capability; and (e) examples of prior completed Government contracts, references, and other related information. (f) provide any certifications obtained for accreditation of facilities and processes. 2) Submit Capability Statements by June 5, 2018 electronically via email to: kevin.warren2@va.gov. NO CAPABILITY STATEMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 5, 2018.
