The DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS, VISN 23 is conducting research and is issuing this Request for Information to learn of the availability and capability of business sources qualified to provide the items listed below as Brand Name or Equal. This is NOT a solicitation. NOTICE TO ALL RESPONDENTS: For this particular Request for Information, the VA requires all respondents to be authorized directly by the manufacturer of the Brand Name or Equal models, to distribute these items on the manufacturer s behalf. Respondents should be aware that should a solicitation action be performed in the future, any offers made to said solicitation would be required to include a letter stating as much from the manufacturer at time of offer. INTERESTED SOURCES SHALL RESPOND BY: All responses must be received no later than 4 pm CST, Wednesday, June 6, 2018. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS OF THE REQUIREMENT: Fourteen (14) Bedside Carts (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K) Shall have easy mobility with integrated cart handles. Shall have two directional and total lock wheels. Shall haver 5 polymer casters. Shall be made of corrosion proof polymer materials, with smooth rounded corner to allow for easy cleaning. Shall have active security with keyless entry electronic locks that auto re-lock. Shall have 4 self-closing, full access drawers. Shall have a smooth surface that provides ample space for prep work. Cart dimensions shall not be less than 22 3/8 deep, 28 7/8 long and 35 3/8 high. Fourteen (14) Auto Lock Keyless Entry Touch Pad (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FL411) Shall have wireless full feature LCD touchpad with keyless entry touchpad with auto lock function. Shall be compatible with bedside carts. (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K). Fifty-Six (56) Drawer Pulls (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FL-SB) Shall be compatible with bedside carts and 3, 6 & 9 drawers. (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K, FL103, FL106 & FL109). Twenty-Eight (28) 3 Drawers (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FL103) Shall have full extension with self-closing ball bearing slides. Shall be 3 in height. Shall be compatible with bedside carts and drawer pulls. (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K & FL-SB). Fourteen (14) 6 Drawers (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FL106) Shall have full extension with self-closing ball bearing slides. Shall be 6 in height. Shall be compatible with bedside carts and drawer pulls. (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K & FL-SB). Fourteen (14) 9 Drawers (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FL109) Shall have full extension with self-closing ball bearing slides. Shall be 9 in height. Shall be compatible with bedside carts and drawer pulls. (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K & FL-SB). Twenty-Eight (28) 3 Drawer Divider Kits (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FL113) Shall be compatible with bedside carts and 3 drawers. (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K & FL103). Fourteen (14) 6 /9 Drawer Divider Kits (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FL116) Shall be compatible with bedside carts and 3 drawers. (Brand Name or equal to InterMetro Industries Corporation Mfg Part #: FLN21K, FL106 & FL109). Cleaning requirements & Training materials & Service Manuals Material of bedside carts must be able withstand hospital grade wipes to sanitize equipment between uses. Manuals, Maintenance and training materials must be available upon delivery with ability to access via the internet. Service Manuals.
