Manufacturer: Concurrent Computer Corportation Justification for Sole Source Only: The workstation environment for the F-15 AISF Avionics Lab requires real-time-capable hardware and software. To meet this need, the lab uses Concurrent Computer Corporation's iHawk servers and RedHawk operating system. These emulation computers are essential to maintain and update the F-15 avionics and radar system capabilities. If the emulation computers were to become inoperative, the systems could not be supported or updated as needed to meet new threats. Concurrent Computer Corporation (USA) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for this brand name software and hardware and is not willing to sell the data rights (Email attached to this PR). To replace this equipment with an alternate system would by costly in replacement equipment, software integration, and system testing. Concurrent Computer Corporation is therefore the only source for this requirement. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
