- 2018 MATTHEWS REC SITE TRAIL The BLM office in Miles City, Montana has a requirement for the installation of concrete walking trails at the Matthews Recreation Site located approximately 9 miles east of Miles City, Montana. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for this request. All specifications will be included in the solicitation which is anticipated to be posted on/about June 18, 2018. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available at www.fedconnect.net. Response date for the quotes will be on/about July 18, 2018. Work under this contract is located in Custer County, Montana The period of performance is 25 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work is anticipated to begin early to mid-August, 2018. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $15.0 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for a contract greater than $30,000. Payment protection shall be due within 10 days upon notification of our intent to make award. Prospective contractors shall be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database or failure to submit all required quote information as identified in the upcoming solicitation may make contractor ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted in writing to rundlin@blm.gov at least three business days before closing. Email quotes will not be accepted. An organized site tour will take place. The time/date/place will be announced in the solicitation.
