Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Iowa City, IA, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority FAR 6.302-3 with the University of Iowa for the period of 8/1/2018 to 7/31/2019. The University of Iowa, Department of Internal Medicine will provide subject matter expertise in ethnographic and user experience research methods, ethnographic data collection and synthesis, and coding, writing, and summarization of analyses and results. This will be a fixed price contract with University of Iowa, Department of Internal Medicine who will provide necessary labor to conduct work on the Iowa City VA Health Care System, ORH project Tele ICU Evaluation (ORH project no number) led by Heather Reisinger, PhD. Interested parties may identify their experience in providing these services to the Contracting Officer via e-mail at gary.rogers4@va.gov or fax 319-358-6430. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Request for quotes 36C26318Q0648 for above requirement, NAICS 611310, size standard $33.5 million will be issued on 8/1/2018. The deadline to submit a quote is 5/25/2018.
