- The Contractor shall provide the necessary; labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to install: one 40-ft high, 24ft x 16-ft self-supporting steel platform antenna tower with; elevated ice bridge and (24) “ LMR-900 DB coax cables from a new junction box installed inside the existing shelter to the new tower platform junction box; excavate and install concrete foundation for the antenna tower, erect the antenna tower along with all associated items; platform, railings, walk up stairway, ice bridging, cable wave-quide ladder, LMR cables, antenna mounts, grounding and lightning protection, etc.; and perform site work as required. Project involves the demolition/removal of Five (5) self-supporting steel towers. Four of the antenna towers are 130ft high, the fifth RCL tower is 80ft high. Tower steel, along with; cables, antenna, grounding, ect ¦shall be removed in their entirety and disposed of. Tower foundations shall be taken down to 1ft below grade and abandoned in place. Cables at tower bases and at shelter shall be cut 2ft below grade and abandoned in place. Questions are due by 5:00pm CST on 18 June 2018. Please address to van.ctr.nicholson@faa.gov.
