This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a "request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333318, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHS) Environmental Management Service VAMC is requesting the purchase of new Quickly Replaceable Disposable Privacy Curtains and Installation Kits for the Brooklyn and New York Campuses. The Privacy Curtains must work with the existing curtain track already purchased and currently in use at the station due to the facility s requirement for uniformity with design. The requested curtains must match the description shown below. Curtain Specifications: Curtain must be 108 in width and 66 in height Curtain must be available in 4 colors on the FSS contract (Beige Pattern, Meadow Fern Pattern and Teal Flower) 100% Recyclable Attach the Rapid Refresh Privacy Curtain Rods to Installation Kit with the quick release Time Strip and Label on each curtain for regulatory compliance Assembled in the USA Curtain Installation Kits Customize to the height of the ceiling so that the top of the curtain is approximately 6 off the ground. The manufacturer must be willing to sell/provide parts to replace damaged parts as needed either through the purchase or under warranty work. Those components must be accessible to the facility by being made in the USA. Ease of Curtain Change: Curtains must be easily changed in less than 30 seconds by the Environmental Management Service and Infection Control at the facility. Ease of use (mechanical and functional): The utilization of the curtain must be inherent for staff providing all a good level of comfort and ease of use. Warranty: The Quickly Replaceable Disposable Privacy Curtains and the Quickly Replaceable Disposable Privacy Curtains Installation Kits are clear and free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of manufacture. Under this warranty, the company s obligation is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, articles that are returned within the warranty period and that, after examination, are shown to be defective, subject to the following limitations: Quickly Replaceable Disposable Privacy Curtains must not have been misused, abused, or damaged in storage or transit.
