This is an Industry Day/Site Visit Announcement. Program Title: Industry Day/Site Visit for the Cargo Offload Discharge System (COLDS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Solicitation Number:N6134018R0051 *Reference is made to previous Sources Sought Notice posting on 08/29/2017, Solicitation Number N6134017R0091. All future communication relating to this effort will be posted associated with Solicitation No. N6134018R0051. Text Body: Industry Day and the first Site Visit will take place at the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group (EWTGPAC), Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, San Diego, CA on Monday June 18, 2018. The Industry Day briefing anticipated time will be determined dependent upon travel schedules (building location to be determined) with a facility walkthrough of the Base. A more detailed agenda for the week of 18 June (to include the Industry Day building location) will be provided to participants at the Government s earliest convenience, but no later than June 8, 2018, 1600 EST. Companies wishing to attend the Industry Day/Site Visit are required to notify the Government of their intent to attend by 1600 EST on June 7, 2018. Each potential offeror is limited to three participants and the following information is requested: name, title, email, phone, and citizenship. Additional details pertaining to the identification requirements for base access will be sent to each participant wishing to attend. The Government plans on including applicable Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs of the Industry Day Kick-Off briefing on June 18, 2018. Requested Information:As previously mentioned if you are a potential offeror, the Government is requesting that you submit your intent to attended the Industry Day via email to the Contract Specialist and Program Manager at your earliest opportunity, but no later than 1600 EST on June 7, 2018. Please include the additional requested participant information within your response via e-mail to the site POC, Todd Kamins (todd.a.kamins@navy.mil), 619-437-0754 and the NAWCTSD POC, Madeline R Jackson (madeline.jackson@navy.mil), 407-380-4925 NLT than 7 June 2018, EST on contractor letterhead.. The visit requests must include name (as it appears on individual s driver license), Title, driver s license number and state issued, City and State of Residence, Home or Office phone number, Social Security Number, place of birth, and citizenship of each visitor. Should you have any additional questions and/or concerns please direct them to either the Contract Specialist or Program Manager. FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR 237-1) Site Visit Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Attendees: All prospective offerors are urged to attend the site visits, however, each company is restricted to three (3) attendees. Questions: Questions generated as the site visit shall be submitted in writing in accordance with the questionnaire in Appendix A. At no time will the government answer questions regarding the solicitation to a single potential offeror without providing the answer to all offerors, only functionality of the training equipment will be addressed. The Government will not engage in side bar question and answer sessions with any individual potential offeror. Questions submitted formally will be answered and distributed to offerors through the COLDS Q/A tracker prior to solicitation release and via a solicitation amendment following formal solicitation release. NOTE: Failure of a prospective offeror to attend the site visit or to submit any questions will be construed to mean that the offeror fully understands all requirements of the solicitation. Attendance Costs: The Government is not responsible for, nor will the Government pay, any portion of the costs associated with attendance at the respective site visits by prospective contractor personnel. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.
