- Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-DPD) intends to solicit, evaluate and award a contract for twelve (12) Plastic Media Blast Training Rotor Blades and Components Training using Type VII and proposed Type VIII Medias, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with (IAW) FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. The solicitation number for this requirement will be issued as a request for quote (RFQ) W912NW-18-T-0026. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 611430 and has a size standard of $11 million. All questions regarding this synopsis should be submitted in writing, no later than 27 March 2018 by 2:00 PM (CST). Questions should be submitted via e-mail to: arthur.l.gunter.civ@mail.mil. The evaluation will be conducted IAW FAR 13.106-2. The award will be made to the successful offeror IAW the solicitation terms representing the best value to the Government based on lowest price. All quotes received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Department of Defense System for Award Management (SAM).
