- Description
- RFQ W81XWH-18-Q-0155 for ChemOffice Professional Software Suite v17 The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) is the nation's leading science and technology laboratory in the area of medical chemical countermeasures research and development. USAMRICD manages a diversified portfolio of medical chemical warfare agent research projects for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal Agencies. USAMRICD's strategic plan relies on the outstanding performance of scientists and support personnel and the ability to exceed expectations on customer directed research projects. As DoD's lead laboratory for the development of medical countermeasures against chemical threat agents, the USAMRICD is increasingly called upon to provide expert analytical and consultative services related to medical chemical defense research and to the medical management of chemical casualties. The Institute's growing national and international customer base includes other Government agencies, academia, pharmaceutical companies and commercial enterprises. To fulfill this expanding mission, the USAMRICD has a requirement for ChemOffice Professional Software Suite v17. The software needs to provide a ChemOffice application that brings the tools a researcher needs to conduct science in 3D structures to predicted and experimental spectral results. The software need to allow chemists and biologists to visualize and capture research, efficiently keep track of work, and to gain a deeper understanding of results. The software should allow scientific research to efficiently search scientific databases to include SciFinder, keep track of work, be able to analyze the data, be able to correlate biological activity and other properties with chemical structures, and be able to produces scientific reports professionally and efficiently.
