Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Patuxent River, MD, intends to award a sole source contract to the MIL Corporation to provide continuing support for management and technical Information Technology (IT) support services to support the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Infrastructure Division (NAVAIR- 5.4.1). This effort is a bridge to Contract N00178-14-D-7835- M801 currently performed by MIL Corporation for the continuity of contract support until the competitive follow-on contract, N00421-17-R-0040, is awarded. This effort will consist of a six-month period of performance anticipated to begin in July 2018 with two (2) three-month option periods. The primary place of performance is Patuxent River, MD. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirements".
