Description

SOW TOMCO DRY ICE PELLETIZER BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TOMCO DRY ICE PELLETIZER STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Scope. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, requesting a new ice pelletizer (ice maker) for the blood donor center. 2. Background. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune Blood Donor Center is requesting an outside company to replace the Dry Ice Pelletizer with a standard pressure Dry Ice pelletizer CO2. The system has been functioning intermittently over the past 6 months to the point the pelletizer no longer cools to start the creation of the dry ice pellets. A new functional ice machine is vital to the department's mission to be able to ship blood products to other military medical facilities and meet our weekly and monthly Armed Services Blood Program frozen blood products quota needs. 3. Requirements. Replacement of dry ice pelletizer. a. Work hours of the Blood Donor Center will be 0700 to 1630. b. The work will be performed at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune location of dry ice machine Bldg. NH 17 by the warehouse.
