COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Past Performance Data Past Performance Questionnaire Redacted J&A THIS CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT 0001 TO CHANGE THE RESPONSE DATE TO 10 JULY 2018 AT 2:00 PM NORFOLK, VA LOCAL TIME. See attachments. Military Sealift Command is requesting quotes to provide the materials for the procurement of ten (10) each 12" Expansion Joint Assembly Stainless Steel, Double Braided and Flanged. See attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Attachment 1 Past Performance Data and Attachment 2 Past Performance Questionnaire and Redacted Justification and Approval. The original equipment manufacturer is Hose Master, Inc. Please provide a price quote soonest, and no later than May 31, 2018 at 2:00 Eastern directly to Mr. Tommy Hale at tommy.a.hale@navy.mil. Contract Hose Master, Inc. for drawing. It is anticipated one purchase order will be issued in response to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and will be issued to, if at all, to the responsible, technically acceptable quoter with acceptable past performance, whose quote, conforming to the Request for Quotation, offers the lowest evaluated price. Note for Shipping The Government request that shipping costs be incorporated into the price of each item rather than a separate line for total shipping costs. The Government will spread the shipping costs across all lines upon award if quoted as a separate line item. Offers/quotes submitted in response to this solicitation shall not contain nor be subject to the offeror's/vendor's standard commercial terms and conditions. Any offer/quote submitted in response to this solicitation which includes the offeror's/vendor's standard commercial terms and conditions may be considered a material defect and may be rejected as being non-responsive to the solicitation. This procurement is a FAR 12 acquisition being conducted under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program. Accordingly, simplified acquisitions procedures apply. After receipt of quotes, the Government may without notice, negotiate with and, if desired, seek a quote revision from as many or as few quoters as it, in its discretion, deems appropriate.
