Description
This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. a. Demolition 1. Contractor must demo/remove existing power/data poles located within area of work. Terminate/reuse electrical. 2. Contractor must demo/remove existing door in south office and save for reuse. 3. Contractor must demo portion of wall in south office for new door location, relocate any electrical/COMM/Phone in wall. b. Construction 1. Contractor must provide and install approximately 75' of new walls for waiting room, break room, and office separation. New walls to be from floor to existing ceiling grid in height, finish and paint to match existing colors. 2. Contractor must provide and install 3 new doors to match existing doors & hardware, provide crash bar on door that separates the offices from the break room/waiting room. One door each for waiting room, break room, and office separation. Users will key all doors after project completion. 3. Contractor must provide and install new one way mirror 3'x4' in wall between waiting room and corridor, with reflective surface inside waiting room. 4. Contractor must provide and install new surface mounted duplex receptacles for new waiting room and break room. Minimum of 2 (two) receptacles for waiting room. Minimum of 2 (two) receptacles for break room and provide 2 (two) separate dedicated circuits 1 (one) for user provided refrigerator and 1 (one) circuit for user provided microwave, total of 4 (four) receptacles for break room. 5. Contractor must patch/repair/paint wall both sides in south office, where door was removed. 6. Contractor must install existing saved door in new location of south office. 7. Contractor must patch and repair carpet between south office and corridor where new door is installed. 8. Contractor must insulate the north and west wall of the south office this is the wall adjoining break room and exterior corridor. Patch, repair, paint walls to match existing conditions. 9. Contractor must remove and relocate one fire strobe. 10. Contractor must add new light fixture with integral emergency light, within office area corridor adjust light fixtures for balance in layout. 11. Contractor must test and balance HVAC in new break room and waiting room. 12. Contractor must paint all existing walls with in the scope of work area.
