Description

The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office intends to issue a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-17-G-8008 on a sole source basis to United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, CT for an engineering change associated with the STOVL CNAS Mounts and Bolts. Contract award is anticipated for the second quarter of fiscal year 2019. This order supports the F-35 U.S. Services and Non-U.S. DoD Partners. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on any responses to this notice, the Government reserves the right to process this procurement action on a sole source basis.
