Description

The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office intends to issue a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-17-G-8008 on a sole source basis to United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, CT for an engineering change associated with the F135 3BSM Anti-Rotation Pins. Contract award is anticipated for the second quarter of fiscal year 2019. This order supports the F-35 U.S. Services and Non-U.S. DoD Partners. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on any responses to this notice, the Government reserves the right to process this procurement action on a sole source basis.
