Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Waymart, PA, intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase order to Aqua America, Inc., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, NY for the period June 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018. The United States Penitentiary has a need for domestic water services. The Government believes that Aqua America is the only vendor that will satisfy the agency requirement with continuing domestic water services. This is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received before the close date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
