Description
The following questions or clarifications regarding the CLASS AB amplifier were asked, and the answers follow. 1. Page 40 of 47, Voltage Gain: It appears that you are specifying a fixed 0dB and 10 (20dB) gain settings or a variable gain setting. Is this true or do you want all three settings? Answer: The amplifier does not have to have all three settings as long as the unit has at least 0 dB to 20 dB range with a continuously variable gain setting. 2. Page 40 of 47, Phase Reversal: Depending on the answer to question 1, is the phase reversal only to be made in the 0dB gain position or can it be made in all gain positions? Answer: The phase reversal can be made in all gain positions as long as we have an option to choose the output signal to be inverted or non-inverted. 3. Page 41 of 47, Input Impedance: Can the variable gain mode impedance be changed to 5k ohms or greater? Answer: Yes, the variable gain mode impedance can be changed to 5k ohms or greater. 4. Page 41 of 47, Output Impedance: Can the specifications here be changed to "the amplifier's output should be able to drive a 600 ohm output and meet specifications."? Answer: Yes, the output impedance specification can be changed to "the amplifier's output should be able to drive a 600 ohm output". ALTHOUGH NOT SPECIFICALLY ASKED IN THE RFP, PLEASE INCLUDE BOTH AMPLIFIER MODEL AND PART NUMBER AS APPROPRIATE. IF THE MODEL AND PART NUMBER ARE THE SAME, PLEASE TELL US SO. THIS IS NOT A DIQAULIFYING EVALUATION ITEM, RATHER SOMETHING THAT WILL ACCELERATE THE AWARD PROCESS SHOULD YOUR PROPOSAL BE ACCEPTED. THANK YOU AS A RESULT OF THESE QUESTIONS BEING ASKED AND THE ANSWERS PROVIDED, AN ADDITIONAL WEEK OF IS ALLOWED FOR ALL PROPOSALS UNTIL jUNE 25, 2018
