Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hampton VAMC, NCO6 Network Contracting Office, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Alpha Source, Inc. for repair of GE DEXA Bone Density Scanner at the Greenville Health Care Center in Greenville, NC. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 811219. Small business size standard: $20.5 Million. The FSC Code is J065. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement under the authority of 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. This notice of intent IS NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 3:00pm EST, June 8, 2018. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
