Description
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Oregon State Office is seeking qualified vendors for the planning, design and construction of all forms of both motorized and non-motorized trail systems on BLM-administered lands primarily in Oregon/Washington. This contract is intended to contain a one-year Base plus Four (4) additional one-year options. Oregon is recognized both nationally and internationally for providing a wide range of quality recreational opportunities. BLM-administered lands in Oregon/Washington have seen a 20% increase in non-motorized trail demand within the last five years. The objectives of these contracts are to provide a variety of sustainable high quality trails, and trail experiences to the public for a range of trail based activities, including but not limited to hiking, mountain biking, equestrian, and Off Highway Vehicles. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement that shall be considered by the agency. The capability statement must include your firms ability to: -Plan, design and construct all forms of both motorized and non-motorized trails on lands managed by the BLM in Oregon and Washington. -Previous experience constructing mountain bike specific natural surface trails. -Previous experience with planning and constructing trails in the Pacific Northwest. - Demonstrate the ability, skill and expertise to operate specialty trail equipment (SWECO, Mini Ex) in the Pacific Northwest. -Geographic Area: Areas your firm is willing to provide services. -Examples (trail names, trail type, locations) of previous trail construction on Public Lands.
