- Description
- Five each 480 Volts of Alternating Current (VAC) to 270 Volts of Direct Current (VDC) Power Converters including cables, support equipment, and commissioning for use with the F-35 Aircraft. The commissioning shall include full run through of the system to verify its operation in accordance with the performance requirements as described above. The power converters must meet the requirements of MIL-STD-704F, Unified Facilities Guide Specifications(UFGS) 26 35 44 and National Fire Protection Association(NFPA) 70. The Enclosure shall meet the requirements of NEMA Level 4 or Level 3 with windblown dust protection. Cable requirements include three (3) 75ft 270 VDC cables, two (2) 100ft 270 VDC cables, and five (5) ground mounted stand-alone aircraft cable hangers. Start-up and commissioning to be completed at China Lake. Unit of Issue: Five each enclosures including associated cables and equipment. Destination: China Lake, CA; FOB Destination Delivery Schedule: Items to be delivered four to five months after contract award *PROCUREMENT TYPE Competitive in accordance with FAR 6.1 All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about (insert date). Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO. See the DLIS website for registration details: https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/jcp/search.aspx All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration.
