Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. (b) Although "proposal," "offeror," contractor, and "offeror" may be used in this sources sought notice, any response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) Any information received from a contractor in response to this Sources Sought may be used in creating a solicitation. Any information received which is marked with a statement, such as "proprietary" or "confidential," intended to restrict distribution will not be distributed outside of the Government, except as required by law. (d) This Sources Sought is issued by VISN 2 Contracting Office in Albany, NY for the purpose of collecting information about procurement of Common Space Furniture for Castle Point VAMC at 41 Castle Point Road, Wappinger s Falls, NY 12590. The VA is seeking to provide for this requirement as of 20 days after receipt of award. The NAICS code identified for this requirement is 337121 Wood framed furniture, upholstered, household type manufacturing. The requirement is detailed in the Statement of Work section of this document. (e) Cursory market research has identified several small businesses that may be able to provide for this requirement. Contractors that are able to meet the requirements in the attachment are encouraged to email a capability statement and full information to Dayna Dickson at Dayna.Dickson@va.gov - Part of the purpose of this sources sought is to determine the viability of set aside to a specific socio-economic category. Contractors shall identify the NAICS code for the services being offered as well as their size status under said NAICS. If contractor is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), a Veteran Owned Small Business(VOSB), or any other special category of contractors, then contractor is responsible for providing documentation in support of this. This information will be used to determine the viability of a set aside for this requirement. - Contractors shall also identify any Federal Supply Schedules that may carry the desired services. - Contractors shall identify pertinent point of contact for company, contractor DUNS number for size standard and socioeconomic verification in SAM and VIP. - Contractors shall include any relevant comments about the Attachment(s) if applicable. Statement of Work Common Space Furniture Building 45 Castle Point BACKGROUND This package contains the required furniture needed for the functional activation of the new Quarters Building 45 at Castle Point Campus. OBJECTIVES To provide furniture for the newly renovated Building 45 at Castle Point Campus. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Once ordered, the furniture has a lead time of 6-8 weeks. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Castle Point, NY Campus Building 45. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS: **All supplied furniture must be able to have wood finishes and upholstery that exactly match, since many areas are adjacent and visible to each other. Designer will select finish and fabric selections from Manufacturer s offerings. Please quote upholstery in a mid-grade vinyl. This is furniture for an intern residence, so furniture must be residential in nature** (2) Sofas Equivalent to Cabot Wrenn 6305-3 Cruise Sofa Dimensions must be 92 W x 32 D x 28.5 h. Arm Height: 24.5. Maple Frame with Upholstered Body. Fabric and Finish to be selected by Designer. (4) Lounge Chairs Equivalent to Cabot Wrenn 6305 Cruise Lounge Chair Dimensions Must be 36.5 W x 32 D x 28.5 H. Maple Frame with Upholstered Body. Fabric and Finish to be selected by Designer. (8) Upholstered Side Chairs Equivalent to Cabot Wrenn CZ1105 Diversity Side Chair with Oak Base Dimensions must be 21 W x 27 D x 34.25 H. Oak Base. Fabric and Finish to be selected by Designer. (2) Mid-Back Task Chairs Equivalent to Cabot Wrenn 9268ST Caesar Mid Back Chairs Rolling Base; Dimensions must be 28 W x 29 D x 36 H; 18 H Seat Height; Mid Back Chair. (4) Side Tables Equivalent to Cabot Wrenn 1001-1B Waypoint Occasional Table; Walnut Finish; Dimensions must be 20.125 W x 16.75 D x 19.5 H. Travel: All items to be delivered to and inspected at Castle Point Warehouse prior to in-house installation. Freight charges must be included.
