- The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking Contractors for temporary labor to supplement Metro's Ground Maintenance and Custodial Services workforce at multiple stations and facilities, throughout the Authority, in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. The Contractor will provide seasonal landscape laborers, custodial laborers and snow removal laborers, as needed, WMATA will provide all required tools and equipment. Rivas Email Address: lrivas@wmata.com The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking Contractors for temporary labor to supplement Metro's Ground Maintenance and Custodial Services workforce at multiple stations and facilities, throughout the Authority, in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. The Contractor will provide seasonal landscape laborers, custodial laborers and snow removal laborers, as needed, WMATA will provide all required tools and equipment. WMATA intends to issue a Request for Proposals within the next few weeks. Award of a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to a responsible offeror shall be made through a competitive selection process. WMATA anticipates that the award will have a five-year duration (One -Year Base Period with a series of discretionary option periods). Contract start-up will be expected to commence in the August of 2018.
