Description

RFQ Solicitation N0042118Q0450 is issued as an intent to sole source. The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis for Roller Assembly with ADVANCED AIRCRAFT ROLLER SYSTEMS, under the authority implemented by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). Advanced Aircraft Roller Systems maintain proprietary rights to technical data required to manufacture the required equipment. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov. This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals MUST be submitted to olive.rogers@navy.mil no later than 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)18-JUN-2018. Award will be made on an all or nothing basis, vendor must be an authorized distributor. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
