Description

Synopsis/Solicitation The Advanced Characterization Facility (ACF) in the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a shared facility to support regulatory research that assess safety and efficacy of FDA-regulated products containing nanomaterials. The researchers at ACF utilize Oxford X-Max 80 spectrometer coupled with Jeol transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to analyze elemental composition of nanomaterial samples. The U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has a need for the procurement of preventative maintenance (PM) for an Oxford X-Max 80 EDS Spectrometer.
