Description
The US Army Contracting Command (ACC), New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of U.S Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) for a product to encompass a broad range of educational management features. Our Training Center is in need of a comprehensive institutional management system which integrates the functions of course delivery along with the ability to collect and analyze educational performance metrics. From the solution we require: • the ability to provide student evaluations of courses at the end of a semester; • the ability to provide student evaluations of instructors at the end of a semester; • the ability to provide student evaluations their own performance & effort in class. • the ability to keep grades for students across multiple courses; • course registration / registrar functionality; • the ability to create custom forms and reports to analyze performance of course, students, and instructors across the range of courses to support MSCHE Accreditation and MSCHE Accreditation Renewal. Accreditation is a statutory requirement of AGS; • threaded discussion boards within each course; • threaded discussion boards outside courses open to all instructors and students across the school and specialized groups; • ability for students, instructors, staff, to create discussion boards for any subject and are able to assign permissions to whomever they choose for the discussion board they created • admissions functions for new students joining the school; • transcript and certificate generation for students completing tracks within the school, on demand by students without requiring interaction from school administrators; • predefined/automatic email generation for course-wide or school-wide announcements; • dashboard reminders for all users • academic calendar management; • Database and data management for students throughout their school career tracking grades in courses as well as significant milestones outside of courses (passing qualifying exams, dissertation proposal, dissertation defense, etc.); • Data must be stored in an SSAE 16 Type II compliant data center, backed-up daily, requiring 256-bit SSL-encrypted connections to access from client computers; • integrated course grades and gradebooks with transcripts and student records; • course delivery support for file-sharing, lecture materials, and book lists; • video streaming of previous lectures The solution must not: • require installation of software on any local computers, • store data on servers outside of CONUS, • require local IT support, Vendor Questionnaire: The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain information from industry to assist in the market research. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interest and capability to satisfy the above requirements by identifying the following items: 1. Company Name 2. Company Address / Country Represented / Website 3. Company point of contact and phone number 4. Identify any requirements that would not be met by the solution proposed by vendor 5. Pricing Model based on a. anticipated school size of approximately 50 active students and 50 faculty/staff b. anticipated school size of approximately 100 active students and 50 faculty/staff 6. Please provide any additional comments. All responsible, interested offerors are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualification data and any pertinent information in hard copy or via email, within thirty (30) calendar days.
