- The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR13. 106-1(b), to Getinge USA, LLC. 45 Barbour Pond Dr, Wayne, NJ 07470. Getinge USA, LLC will provide maintenance, to include regular and corrective maintenance, for Getinge intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABPs). Services for the IABPs shall include all parts, labor, travel, technical and clinical telephone support and, loaner equipment. All labor shall be completed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) trained technicians. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Saint Louis VA Medical Center. The Saint Louis VAMC is located at 915 N Grand Blvd., Saint Louis, MO 63106. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 Million. The solicitation number is 36C25518Q0475. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) month Base year plus four option years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 30 June 2018 at 2:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C25518Q0475, Notice of Intent. If after 30 June 2018, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Getinge USA, LLC. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
