- **ATTENTION** ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: ASHLEY WILBOURN, CONTRACT SPECIALIST; EMAIL: ashley.r.wilbourn.civ@mail.mil. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a sole source requirement for the Encrypted Aircraft Wireless Intercom System (EAWIS). The effort will allow pilots to hear terrain avoidance warnings on the EAWIS. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) this proposed contract action for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source: Telephonics Inc., 815 Broad Hollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735, CAGE Code: 78711. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposal. This notice is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government
