Description
Attachment 1 - Request for Specification Clarification RFQ N5523618Q0213 Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) requires the following: Commercial Industrial Services (CIS) Upholstery Services for Nylon Trunk Safety Nets. Contractor shall provide labor, services, equipment, and materials for the removal, manufacture, pre-fit, weight test, and installation of nylon trunk safety nets onboard the USS ESSEX (LHD-2). Ship inspection will be conducted on 14 JUNE 2018 at 08:30 a.m. PST on Pier 2 at Naval Base San Diego. For questions regarding ship inspection, please contact Shipbuilding Specialist Corey Ellick (619-726-5855) or Paul Damian (619-571-5599). The Government will not pay for any effort expended during the ship inspection. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, services, and materials in accordance with the established statement of work and applicable government specifications and regulations. Inspections and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant government representative. The contractor is responsible for the use of the latest revision of all references, specifications, and NAVSEA Standard Items. The successful offeror will be required to have a SWRMC approved Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Item 009-04 in place at time of contract award. The applicable NAICS is "336611". Business size of 1,250 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97, effective 24 January 2018, and DFARS Change Notice 20180530. All vendors must be regisered at www.sam.gov.
