Description

Base + 2 Yrs. SCOAP; Surgical Care and Outcomes Assessment. Special Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K0218Q0102 Pursuant to FAR Subpart 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Cell, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0218Q0102 to Foundation for Health Care Quality, in the amount of $41,400.00. Surgical Care and Outcomes Assessment known as (SCOAP) is a registry of collection of clinical data from participating hospitals for the purpose of assessing clinical surgical performance, quality of care, and opportunities for quality improvement in a General Surgery atmosphere. This program is Physician - led in an effort to improve quality by reducing variation in process of care and outcomes at each hospital in the region. This will be a Base Year with 2 available Options for the Department of Surgery / Madigan Army Medical Center Tacoma WA. Surgical Care and Outcomes Assessment (SCOAP) registry which provides the data documentation through its website along with other training tools is proprietary only to the Foundation for Health Care Quality and only authorized source available. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
