Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to enter into a non-competitive twelve month contract with the incumbent contractor, Valiant Integrated Services, 101 Walton Way, Hopkinsville, KY 42240, pending the award of a five (5) year competitively-solicited contract. The twelve month contract is for Facility Operation and Maintenance (O&M), together with repair services for buildings, structures and building equipment at the Memphis IRS Center (MIRSC), 5333 Getwell Road, Memphis, TN 38118. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The bridge contract will be for the period of 07/01/2018 through 06/30/2019. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or a solicitation of offers. No solicitation document is available. The IRS will not open this requirement to competition based upon any written responses to this notice.
