Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Interior, intends to award a sole source purchase order (PO) under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 922120 - Police Protection. San Juan County, 100 South Oliver Dr. Aztec, NM 87410 has been determined the only source that can fill the needs of this requirement. The San Juan County Sheriff's Department will enforce the civil and criminal laws of the State of New Mexico, San Juan County, on the public lands, waters, roads administered by the BLM. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price PO with a period of performance that shall not exceed 5 years. The Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. BLM has only one know source for this procurement that is in the Government best interest. All questions must be submitted by June 22, 2018, 4:30 PM MT and no questions shall be accepted after this time. Interested parties must express their interest and shall submit their capability statement and any other information considered pertinent to the Contract Specialist no later than June 28, 2018, 4:30 PM MT. Please respond to Eleanor Tippeconnie, by email (preferred) to etippeco@blm.gov, telephone 505-564-7631 or by mail to Bureau of Land Management, NMSO, 6251 College Blvd. Ste. A., Farmington, NM 87402. A determination not to compete the described acquisition will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. If no response is received, that clearly demonstrates an ability to meet all requirements by the date and time set, BLM shall make award on a sole source basis to San Juan County.
