This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as Small Business Set-Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z028-18-Q-3HB24500. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 336611 Ship Building and Repairing, Size standard in number of employees (1000) This requirement is for a fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15 The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government (Lowest Price/Technically Acceptable). The following factors shall be used to evaluate the proposals: 1. Technical Capability of the services offered to meet/exceed the Governments Requirements per the Attached Statements of Work. 2. Total price 3. Past Performance of Contractor Technical and past performance, when combined, is ___60%_______ When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following: a. Cost of labor and supervision b. Cost of materials and equipment to perform contract. Wage determinations: 1998-0298 Rev: 22 dated 12/26/2017 SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials and equipment for ships deck renewal and joiner work located onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Finback. See Attached SOW and diagrams. Location: USCG Base Miami Beach 100 MacArthur Causeway Miami Beach, Fl. 33139 Geographical range: Price Range: NTE $80K Performance Period: Performance of work is expected to commence NLT 10 days after award is made. Extension period must be approved by the Contracting Officer for any unforeseen delays. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision and any other supplies, materials and equipment necessary to perform the services required. Site visit: It is highly recommended that interested vendors attend the scheduled site visit set for Wednesday June 20th 2018 at the Cutters homeport: 900 Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce, Fl. 34949.
