- Description
- Amended Solicitation Amendment 0003- This amendment is to change the response time from 06/14/18 to 06/20/18, respond to questions, add language on how proposals will be evaluated, and to update the solicitation to include GFP (Please See Attachment 'N6660418Q2064 Ver 3'). Questions and Answers: Question 1: The drawings indicate that there is Government Furnished material available for the load testing. What does that entail? Is it the weight and the stand? Answer 1: Please see the updated solicitation. Question 2: On drawings 7052674 and 7052557, they call out a MIL-A-8625 Type II Class 1 Anodize. The Assembly, drawing 7052556 calls out a Type II Class 2 Anodize. We can understand that the part that bolts on is a different Anodize, but the part that is a part of the weldment, would that not be Anodized after the welded assembly is complete and therefore be the Type II Class 2 Anodize? Answer 2: Drawing 7052674 is Type 2 Class 1 Anodize. Drawing 7052557 is Type 2 Class 2 Anodize. Language on how proposals will be evaluated: This requirement will be awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) quote. In order to be determined technically acceptable: (1) the offeror must meet the specifications within the drawing and provide the specified quantities; and (2) the Government will consider past performance information in accordance with DFARS Provision 252.213-7000 where negative information within PPIRS-SR may render a quote being deemed technically unacceptable.
