Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a service requirement at Isle Royale National Park in Houghton, MI. Work will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, blocking, staging, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to accomplish the 5-year mandatory dry-docking inspection of the Ranger III to include all necessary repairs. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6418R0037 PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available mid to late-May and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and the FedConnect website https://www.fedconnect.net/. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $200,000 and $800,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early September 2018. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Houghton County, Michigan will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 336611, and the size standard is 1,250 employees. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
