Description

Sole Source Justification - Emergency Event Notification (EEN) System INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a sole source award to Mutare for the renewal of maintenance support for the Emergency Event Notification (EEN) System installed at PBGC and used by multiple departments throughout the agency to maintain and provide employees' contact information in case of emergency. This is a sole source procurement as this vendor is the only provider of the maintenance for this software. Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation requires the renewal maintenance support for Mutare Emergency Event Notification (EEN) system, 24x7 Customer Support for 12 months. Support includes: 1. Premier level of Support 2. 8x5 Comprehensive Business HR Support (8am - 5pm CT) 3. 24x7 Comprehensive Support 4. "Bug Fixes" 6. Enhancements to Application 7. Support for Upgrades. The contract action is being sought under FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source (including brand name product) is deemed reasonably available to provide the required supplies or services and the cost/price is at or below the SAT. The anticipated Period of Performance (PoP) is a 12-month Base Period of August 15, 2018 through August 14, 2019. This is not a request for proposals but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued.
