Description

Synopsis document. The 366th Contracting Squadron at Mountain Home AFB, ID intends to issue a solicitation (FA4897-18-B-0002) on approximately 2 July 18. The requirement is for the mill & overlay, saw cutting, full depth patching, paint striping, and installation of thermoplastic marking on approximately 19,384 square yards (SY) of road pavement. There is approximately 19,834 SY of mill & overlay area at 1-inch depth, 3,193 SF of full depth patching at approximately 4 inch depth, 3,450 SF of paint striping, and placement of 38 thermoplastic markings. The project is located on Mountain Home AFB, ID. The original pavement construction date is estimated to be 2006 with several full depth patches made within the last year. No site visit will be required, however one may be requested by a prospective offeror. The anticipated period of performance is 120 calendar days. This requirement will be a 100% set aside for women owned small business concerns under NAICS code 237310 (highway, street, and bridge construction), which has a small business size standard of $36.5M. The magnitude of this project is between $250K and $500K. Prospective bidders must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.
